As a black woman, I am always on the lookout for products that are made by and for people who look like me. There is something special about using products that have been created with my specific needs in mind.
I'm also aware that many black owned beauty companies are still relatively unknown. So, in addition to supporting them with my dollars, I also want to help raise awareness of these businesses.
If you're looking for some new beauty products, I encourage you to consider companies that are owned by black people. Not only will you be supporting a worthy cause, but you're also likely to find some great products!
