Choosing the Right Skin Care Products for the Neck Down
There’s a difference in your skin from the neck down. It has the ability to handle more abuse than your face. Your skin on your body, has to handle the fabrics you drape it in, known as clothing. The fibers can be irritating and cause rashes or pull the natural oils from your skin.
If you wear underwire bras, and a lot of you do, they will often, irritate your skin under your breast and cause skin discoloration.
So what’s a girl to do when choosing a cleanser?
Look for cleansers that will moisturize your skin and not strip it of its natural oils. Sound familiar? Yes it wants to be treated special just like your face. Bar soaps can be drying to your skin. Look for liquid soaps that are not as harsh on your skin.
Castile soap is a good choice. You can add skin loving essential oils to enhance the care given to your skin.
Moisturizers
These can be heavy creams made from shea butter, cocoa butter and mango butter. When combined, your skin will get the benefits of all of the richness of theses butters in one product.
Body Oils
Body oils will fall into the category of moisturizers as well. The key with oils, is in choosing it for a particular condition. Dry skin - argan, avocado, evening primrose, hemp seed, or sweet almond. These same oils when used in different formulations, are also good for normal and sensitive skin.
Some of you will be challenged with oily skin, especially on your back. Arnica, black cumin seed, hazelnut, jojoba and tamanu will work better. It will clear up your back acne.
Wait ... there's more
Exfoliation
The exfoliation process is especially important when it comes the removing dead skin cell build up. Cold weather seasons, can have your skin so ruff and dry until you won’t be able to handle it.
The itching will be unbearable and the dead skin falling from under your clothes will be embarrassing. By removing this extra layer of skin, it will have your skin feeling smooth as a baby’s bottom.
Jojoba wax beads, along with sea salt, turbinado sugar and oils will bring a smile to your face. This combination makes a great body butter scrub. Massaged into your skin, you will feel your skin being moisturized.
You and Your body …
Your entire body from head-to-toe, loves to be pampered. Given the right products for the right parts of you, you’ll enjoy the benefits they offer to you and your skin.
