Can the Right Stress Busters Improve Your Health
Stress busters … what a phrase. The fact that these two words are written together is not a good sign for your health. Yet, because they are coupled together, it gives hope that relief is available. That’s because they are seen as a way of relieving stress from your lives on a daily basis.

Take a bath. By far this is my favorite stress buster. Did you know that soaking in a tub of warm water for at least 20 minutes activates your parasympathetic nervous system? As a series of nerves, the parasympathetic nervous system is one of three divisions of the autonomic nervous system.
Sometimes called the rest and digest system, the parasympathetic system conserves energy as it slows the heart rate, increases intestinal and gland activity, and relaxes sphincter muscles in the gastrointestinal tract.
A bath has a way of slowing everything down, your heart rate, your thought process, your breathing … you in general.
Rosemary Essential Oil as a Stress Buster- If you have trouble focusing, rosemary essential oil is known to shut down anxiety. Its aroma is known to soothe your central nervous system thereby reducing the production of stress hormones.
Add 6 drops of rosemary oil to unscented lotion or carrier oil, and massage it into your skin. It has been known to help you think and focus clearly. Anytime essential oils are used to change moods or enhance your environment with its aroma, it's known as aromatherapy.
Vetiver Essential Oil for Anxiety and As A Stress Buster - Vetiver is known to calm that area of your brain that helps keep your breathing steady. It also helps keep your heart rate slow and minimize nervousness.
I combine a drop of vetiver with 2 drops of sandalwood essential oil into a diffuser room diffuser. This allows me to sit calmly as I work and enjoy my time in the office relaxed. It creates a very relaxing aroma. This has been my experience have any of you had such an experience with these two essential oils?s
